About 150,000 visitors in four days – this is the result of this year’s Chinaplas. Asia’s largest plastics and rubber show took place from 25 to 28 April 2016 and had quite an impressive percentage of 26% overseas visitors. This shows one more time that the trade show taken place in Shanghai, PRC is more international than the years before.

Chinaplas 2016 kicked off this week in Shanghai with a wealth of plastics industry solutions makingtheir global debut. Organizer Adsale expects 140,000 visitors from more than 150 countries to attend the four-day event, which is hosting 3323 exhibitors over a floor area of 240,000 square meters, making it the largest plastics show by area in the world. More than 3,800 machines are on show at the event. Despite its massive scale, 30,000-square meters-worth of budding exhibitors were still on the waiting list.
